Improved handling and safety for Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a motorcar. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication.
Standard factory bushes are manufactured from a rubber compound containing natural products, which deteriorate with age.
It becomes softer and more pliable, resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing more and more movement of suspension components and offering less and less control over the suspension geometry.
This in turn causes accelerated tyre wear, braking instability and poor handling.
Your car will benefit from the Powerflex bushes because of the more effective control of the suspension components to a much greater extent than standard rubber items.
By correctly engineering the polyurethane compound, bushes can be made stiffer than new rubber items but with exactly the same noise absorbing properties.
• Powerflex for prolonged tyre life
• Powerflex for improved performance
• Powerflex for increased safety
The solution is PFR1-1010 Rear Trailing Arm to Chassis Bush. Originally released in 2017, this part has proven extremely popular and is now the go-to replacement for many Alfa Romeo specialists.
Since the bushes are not available to buy separately from Alfa Romeo, replacing the entire OE trailing arm is a costly and labour-intensive exercise, with a new trailing arm alone costing approximately £400 each.
PFR1-1010 is made in signature Purple 80ShA material and features CNC-machined adaptors and a freely rotating sleeve design to effectively mitigate the torsional twist issue commonly found in the OE bush. This upgrade not only prevents bush failure, but also enhances performance, reliability, and longevity while presenting great value over purchasing an entirely new trailing arm.
For peace of mind and as a commitment to being a future-proofing problem solver, this part is backed by industry-leading Lifetime Warranty.

PFR1-1010 has a freely-rotating sleeve design. This prevents torsional twist in the bush material, aiding performance, reliability and increasing longevity.
In addition, the part represents great value as the original bush cannot be purchased separately, with complete arms costing £400 each.
