The Piston Liners are made in spheroidal cast iron. and 3-4 times stronger and durable than the standard OEM Liners. Spheroidal graphite cast iron is a cast iron material in which the graphite is spherical due to the introduction of magnesium into the liquid cast iron. This significantly improves the strength and toughness of the material and can achieve almost steel-like properties.
